Celebrating in Style with Year of Cheer
Wow, this has been a weekend of celebrating and the new “Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper” from Stampin’Up! served the occasion well this weekend. Golden Celebration and a rich Gold Tartan paper make a perfect combination.
Golden Wedding important enough to qualify as a Year of Cheer
With friends celebrating fifty years of marriage this weekend, I had to roll out the “big guns” in Designer Series Paper to mark this very special occasion. I wanted to achieve a stylish, yet perfect blend of golden shades that complimented each other. I used these to create this celebration card to mark this 50th, or better known as, “Golden Wedding Anniversary”. There are not many people in today’s society that can boast 50 years of being happily married to the same partner – so a huge congratulations Peter and Rosalie! You are a leading example to all of us.
Noami House and Jacksplace Hospices Fundraiser
Fianlly, I thought I would also share with you an update following a very successful fundraising morning event which I hosted in my local village in support of Naomi House and Jacksplace. As many of you know, I organised this because of my passion for papercrafting and fueled by my strong belief in working to make a difference in the lives of others. With the support and help of my husband serving all the teas, coffees and cake – and a friend and fellow Stampin’Up! demonstrator, we enjoyed a creative morning and fun crafting event. A range of visitors of all ages and steady flow throughout the morning ensured that we were kept busy – and even some of the football supporters came to enjoy coffee, tea and cake. I was truly inspired by all the cards made and want to say a huge thank you to my local community for all your generosity in coming to support this event. Here are a few of the pictures taken.
I hope these inspire you to get crafting and perhaps you will think about joining me next year when I will host another event.
Have fun crafting
