Promise delivered – Home decor!
The Daisy Delight stampset and the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper are so versatile. I just cannot get enough of them both and especially as the Daisy is my birth month flower, April. Do you know which flower represents the month you were born in? These products are so suited to creating delicate and elegant floral displays in a home decor range. You can use any colours to suit the occasion.
The idea of creating a posy of flowers displayed in a box frame, is inspiration from a similar project we made at a recent craft day that I attended with fellow Stampin’Up! demonstrators Sara Sayers and Sue Hookins. I’ve used the Crushed Curry and Peekaboo Peach colour combination and introduced the contrasting Berry Burst on the smaller daisies. The background papers are Old Olive cardstock and a sheet from the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper.
Home Decor CASE (Copy and Share Everything)
One of the great things about being part of the Stampin’Up! family is that we get to copy and share our makes with fellow crafters. Thank you Sara and Sue for sharing your creativity and inspiring this piece.
In case (excuse the pun) you were wondering, this one is a gift that I will be delivering to a friend that has been very poorly recently. I just love the idea that you can give a gift of flowers, that will simply last and last and last. Why not try and create one of your own instead of buying a bunch of flowers next time! It will be appreciated all the more because you will have given a part of yourself in creating it.
